BTC Wallet is free and there is nothing to buy inside it. No subscription, no premium tier, no in-app purchases, no ads, and no affiliate swap partner taking a spread. That is a deliberate choice, and it means the app earns nothing. If it is useful to you, this is the way to say so.

What this is not
A donation buys nothing. It is not a purchase, not a subscription, not an investment, and not a claim on anything. There is no tier it unlocks, no feature it turns on, and no support queue it moves you up — support is the same email for everyone, and it is free. Nothing about the app changes whether you send anything or not.
Bitcoin payments are final. Nobody can reverse one, including us, so send an amount you are content to part with and not a satoshi more.
Other ways to help, which cost nothing
- Tell someone who keeps their bitcoin on an exchange that moving it off is not that hard.
- Report a bug you hit, or something the app explained badly. That is worth more than the donation, and it is the one thing we cannot do without you.
- Leave a review on the App Store once you have actually used it for a while.
A word about addresses on websites
Any address published on any website can be swapped by whoever controls the page. The habit worth building is not trusting this page in particular — it is checking the first and last characters of any address against what your wallet shows you before you approve a payment, every time, on every site. BTC Wallet flags an address that merely resembles somewhere you have paid before, for the same reason.
